IETTN is meant to promote research and industry collaboration in the realm of Industrial Electronics by helping/educating:
(1) Researchers/academia in learning on the process of technology transfer in order to know about all the steps needed after research to have an invention commercialized
(2) Industrials to better understand how to do business with research centers and how they can help to bring more innovation in their product development
(3) Technology transfer professionalsand others (patent lawyers, angels / venture capital, government funding) to connect the dots to make a project successful
